Welcome! Thank you for joining us on this 30-day journey. The goal of this challenge is to shift our perspective from the uncertainty surrounding us to giving praise and glory with gratitude to God for WHO he is and WHAT he’s done for each of us. As we show up daily and put the work in, we will quickly discover HOW He’s calling each of us to respond obediently in worship of Him.
Day 6
1 Corinthians 6:19b-20
“You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.”
Meditation – Take some time to think about the “price”, the blood of Jesus Christ. Think about the cross. As you do, think about your sins hanging in the place of Jesus. Now remove your sins from the cross and replace them with the Son of God, the sinless Christ. Because of this act, your identity is now in Christ, “a chosen person, a royal priesthood, part of a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9)”. Your body is His temple by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Do you truly understand the magnitude of God’s plan and the impact it has had on your eternal life?
Prompt/Response – Spend some time reflecting on the cross. Spend time thanking the Lord for His saving grace. It’s out of this understanding of “WHAT God’s done for us” that we begin to truly worship him with praise and thanksgiving as an obedient response to the removal of your sins and adoption into His royal family.
