Welcome! Thank you for joining us on this 30-day journey. The goal of this challenge is to shift our perspective from the uncertainty surrounding us to giving praise and glory with gratitude to God for WHO he is and WHAT he’s done for each of us. As we show up daily and put the work in, we will quickly discover HOW He’s calling each of us to respond obediently in worship of Him.

Let’s get started!

Day 8

John 4:23-24

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Meditation Jesus points out that “true worshipers” are identified by their worship of the Father through the Son, not by a denomination, lineage, good works, preferences, musical genre or who you hang around with. To worship “in the spirit” means worshiping inwardly with sincere gratitude and proper heart attitude.  To worship “in truth” means your worship is consistent with revealed scripture focused on Jesus, the “Word made flesh”.

Prompt/Response Think about the posture of your heart today, are there areas where you can show the Lord gratitude for the things we normally take for granted? List them somewhere that you can see each day for the rest of this week.
