Community Group Facilitator Meeting

July 28

If you  are interested in learning more information about facilitating a Grace Community Group or connecting with a Community Group, please attend one of our meetings on Sunday July 28st. We will have a meeting at 10:45am and 12:15pm to accommodate those who attend different service times. We will meet in the Activity Center.

We will also meeting after the Monday Night service on July 29th for anything who attends Monday night service or cannot make Sunday’s meetings.

This is not a new concept at Grace. You may have been part of a “Group” in the past. We have referred to them as “Life Groups”, “Small Groups”, or just doing life together. Our hope is to be very intentional with helping our Grace friends and family find a community that God uses to grow us more closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

4 Reasons to facilitate or be part of a Grace Community Group

  1. To Make Friends – Attending a Grace Community Group is a fantastic way to make friends! Whether you’re a brand new Christian who has just walked into our church or have walked closely with Jesus for 40 years, it’s always great to meet new people. A Grace Community Group makes it easier to get to know people because it is designed to be are smaller and more personal then Sunday morning worship.
  1. To Be Mentored – A Grace Community Group is a perfect place to be mentored and to mentor others.  If you are stressed about an issue in your life, Your Community Group can be there to help you through your struggles and pray alongside you.
  1. To Read the Bible – One thing many Christians don’t do enough is read the Bible. Most people live a busy life, making it even harder to find time to read it. Taking the time to go to Grace Community Group ensures that you are making time to fellowship with others as well as read the Word.
  2. To Pray for One Another – A Grace Community Group is a built-in prayer team. Bring your problems. Bring your worries. Bring your pain. Ask your whole Life Group, or just your Life Leader, to pray for you. Prayer is powerful and it helps to have a team of people there to support you.
