As we continue to experience the need for social distancing, we are doing what we can to create community with our students. FM LIVE events are happening online through Zoom on Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. Also, students can join me for FM Zoom 3@3 Monday-Friday at 3:00 p.m. This is a quick time for us to connect and discuss three simple questions. (1. Where did you see God today? 2. What is one thing you accomplished and feel good about today? How did you show love and kindness to someone today?)

One thing that I have heard over and over from our students is that they are bored. So, I am encouraging students to participate in two challenges. The Quarantine Challenge has 35 different simple activities that students can do alone or with their family. The Creative Challenge is a way for them to show off their talents. As students complete the activities, they are encouraged to send me pictures and videos. I will download in a gallery here on this blog and highlight some on our FaceBook and Instagram pages. Check out both challenges below.

In the meantime, please know that we as a church staff are praying for you and your family. We are all learning new things and new ways to communicate. If you have any fun ideas or ways that I can help you or your student, please don’t hesitate to contact me at .

Blessings, Kathleen
