This message challenges us to confront a profound truth: sharing the good news of Jesus isn't primarily about us at all. Drawing from Moses' encounter with God in Exodus, we see a familiar pattern—God calls, and we immediately focus on our inadequacies. Moses argued he wasn't eloquent enough, wasn't the right person, couldn't possibly accomplish what God asked. Sound familiar? Yet God's response cuts through every excuse: 'I will be with you.' The power we need doesn't come from our abilities, our knowledge, or our perfect words. It comes from the Holy Spirit's presence within us. Jesus told His disciples to wait for this power in Acts 1:8, not because they needed more training, but because they needed God's presence to facilitate genuine encounters between the divine and those He loves. We're not called to perform a perfect spiritual presentation; we're called to trust that the God who made our mouths and their ears will provide everything necessary. The enemy wants us focused on ourselves—our fears, our inadequacies, our imperfect knowledge. But the truth is liberating: if we're filled with God's Spirit, we already have everything we need right now to speak the words He's calling us to speak today. The question isn't whether we're equipped enough—it's whether we trust Him enough.
