This message takes us into the powerful story from John chapter 9, where Jesus heals a man born blind on the Sabbath. What makes this account so compelling is not just the miracle itself, but the blind man's response when interrogated by religious leaders. When pressed with theological questions he couldn't answer, he simply declared: 'I was blind, but now I see.' This profound simplicity reveals a transformative truth for our own faith journey. We don't need to have all the answers to share what Jesus has done in our lives. The religious leaders could debate theology and philosophy endlessly, but they had no power to argue against a life genuinely transformed by Christ. This reminds us that our personal testimony carries unique authority. When we encounter skepticism or difficult questions about our faith, we can trust that sharing our authentic story of transformation is more powerful than any theological argument. The blind man didn't need a seminary degree to witness effectively. He just needed to tell the truth about his encounter with Jesus. Similarly, we are called to share our stories in three parts: life before Jesus, our encounter with Him, and life after Jesus. Whether our story seems dramatic or ordinary, the Holy Spirit can use our willingness to share it to open others' eyes to God's transforming power.
