Becoming Disciples

Facilitator — Kathryn O’Brien
Description of Study
“Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study” is a comprehensive 34-week foundational overview of the Bible designed to move participants through the entire biblical story from Creation to the New Jerusalem. The 34 week study has been re-structured from its original timeline (10 months) into 4 sections spread across 15 months. This format will allow several breaks for respite, rejuvenation and reflection. The goal of this study is to help participants create daily habits of engagement with Scripture leading to spiritual transformation. The study combines independent daily reading of the Bible with weekly group discussions to deepen spiritual growth and foster servant-leadership. A good study Bible and a heart committed to seeking God in His Word are essential elements for participation.
Participants may begin the study with any section. However, once they begin a section, they are expected to complete it before moving to another section.

For example, someone who completes Section 1 and begins Section 2 should finish Section 2 before continuing to Section 3 or Section 4. However, someone who completes Section 1 may choose to skip Section 2 and rejoin the study when Section 3 begins.

Dates/Time - Two Options for Section 1 (9 Lessons)
Option 1
Wednesdays, 5:30 - 7:30pm,  September 16th - November 11th
Location -  Kids Wing/Ezra Room
Option 2
