What Partners in Education does for our community 

Cook Elementary School’s mission is to inspire, encourage, and grow ALL learners. The Partners in Education (PIE) Program partners enhance student success goals by bridging classroom learning with real-world experiences. The focus is on relationships, strategic partnerships, and giving resources to FSPS campuses for supporting and enriching the educational experience for students. Kindergarten through 5 th grade.

What Grace Community Church does for the local mission 

We have opportunities to engage in Cook School activities such as:

  • Volunteering at events like field days and family nights

  • Participating in career day eventsMentoring students

  • Providing rewards for academic achievements

  • Invitation to VBS

  • Support the Cook Crusaders

What does volunteering look like? 

Volunteer Opportunities 

  • Mentor a student – ‘adopt’ a child and have lunch with them 2-4 times/month

    o Requires training and background check

  • Invite students to Grace Community Church and our events

  • Help host events

  • Provide an experience once a month or 4 times a year

  • Visit campus for special events or meetings

  • Read Across America - March

  • Sponsor the Cook Crusaders of the Month
