Run for God
Tuesdays at 6:00pm
February 15-May 10
Leader: Kathleen Halliburton
People take up running for many reasons, from weight loss to offseason conditioning for athletics to improved cardiovascular health. But did you know that running is an effective way to strengthen one’s faith as well? Run for God-the 5K Challenge is a guide to running and a twelve-week training plan aimed at running a 5K, but with a Christian focus. Author Mitchell Hollis introduces runners to the similarities between running and witnessing for Christ. The workout plans, discussion questions, and Bible verses make it both a practical resource and a workbook for individuals and groups, especially beginning runners. From advice about shoes and Christian music for one’s MP3 player to tips on race etiquette, the book will be useful and inspirational. Run for God is designed for all levels of runners, even those who have never run. Learn to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ while understanding the parallels in enduring a sport like running and enduring your faith.
Sacred Marriage
Sundays at 5:30pm
January 16-February 20
Leaders: Steve and Erin Delassus
In this six-session small group Bible study, Sacred Marriage, writer and speaker Gary Thomas invites you to see how God can use marriage as a discipline and a motivation reflect more of the character of Jesus.
Your marriage is much more than a union between you and your spouse. It is a spiritual discipline ideally suited to help you know God more fully and intimately. Sacred Marriage shifts the focus from marital enrichment to spiritual enrichment in ways that can help you love your mate more. Whether it is delightful or difficult, your marriage can become a doorway to a closer walk with God.
Everything about your marriage–from the history you and your spouse create, to the love you share, to the forgiveness you both offer and seek by turn–is filled with the capacity to help you grow in Christ’s character.
In addition to life-changing insights, you’ll find a wealth of discussion questions in the Participant’s Guide that will spark meaningful conversation in your group, between you and your spouse, or to simply ponder by yourself.

Wednesdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm
January 12-February 23
Groups will meet around tables in the worship center. After you sign up, you will be assigned to a group if you are not already part of an existing group.
Many people are familiar with Psalm 23. But because we all know it, we often breeze through the psalm without slowing down long enough to rest in the assurance it offers. In this 6-part series on Psalm 23, pastor Matt Chandler introduces us to the great shepherd, the Lord, who promises to provide for every need of his flock. Though only six verses long, this psalm teaches us profound truths about our loving and protective God. By studying Psalm 23, we’ll encounter a life-transforming question: Do you trust the Lord to care for your needs?
Grace University

Grace University is a seminary level course on the Old and New Testaments that equips you with the tools to read and interpret Scripture. One year is spent on the Old Testament and one year is spent on the New Testament. Participants average 1.5 to 2 hours of work (books. articles, video, and podcast) outside of the meeting time each week. No previous bible background is necessary. What is necessary is a hunger to grow in your understanding of the bible and a willingness to do the work. Grace University is specifically designed to challenge those who want more and are ready to dig deeper into God’s Word.
Epic of Eden: Psalms
Wednesdays from 10:00am-11:30am
or
Wednesdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm
January 12-March 2
Leader: Kathryn O’Brien
Sandra Richter brings our ancestors in the faith to the table where we learn from them in a cross-cultural experience bridging historical and modern day life. This eight-session study of the Book of Psalms masterfully mixes scholarly and practical teaching through the most-known wisdom Book of the Bible.
The key messages of this study include: what the Book of Psalms is (the hymnbook of ancient Israel), how it was utilized in Israelite worship (the various “forms” of the Psalms), and why the Book of Psalms remains critical to our devotional lives today. Sandra also dives into the concrete realities of Israelite worship (the tabernacle, temple, priesthood, and sacrifice) as well as Israel’s theology of worship wrapped up in their theocratic world view.
Experience the Psalms with fresh connections to contemporary worship and devotional practices. Indulge in the biblical study of the Psalms from a scholar and former pastor. Letting Sandra do the “heavy lifting” of research and translation allows you to experience the Bible in a deeply sensitive way, answering the evergreen question, “so what does this have to do with me today?”
Thriving in Babylon
Wednesdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm
March 30-April 27
Groups will meet around tables in the worship center. After you sign up, you will be assigned to a group if you are not already part of an existing group.
These are confusing times for many Christians. Traditional biblical values are not only rejected; it seems as if they’re attacked on every front. It’s all happened at warp speed, leaving many of us spiritually and culturally disoriented or even fearful, frustrated, and angry. How can we spiritually survive in an increasingly spiritually hostile environment? And is there any hope for the next generation?
In this 5-session series, Larry Osborne introduces us to a man forced to live in a fast-changing and godless society. This man faced fears about the future, concern for his safety, and the discouragement of a world that seemed to be falling apart at warp speed. That man was Daniel, and with the power of hope, humility, and wisdom, he not only survived, but thrived.
Each session also includes real-life stories of people struggling to thrive in an ever-increasing godless society. Though Daniel lived thousands of years ago, he has much to teach us today.
