Someone asked, “Should Christians ask for forgiveness since they are already forgiven in Christ?”. Short answer: Yes. Think of our relationship with God as a relationship and not as a one time event. Susan and I have agreed to be married for better or worse and we have committed to forgive one another, but there is also an ongoing need to ask for forgiveness.
